Sunday - 10AM Worship Service

We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to Stroudwater Christian Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Will I Fit In?

Our service is contemporary with a worship band and sermons that address everyday issues. Dress is casual; we don’t care what you look like on the outside, we care about who you are on the inside. You will see all kinds of people from the greater Portland area. Singles, parents with small kids, teens, grandparents, 20 somethings, people from all walks of life.

We love God, believe in the Bible and want to help you with your questions. We take God seriously but try to not take ourselves too seriously.

The best way to find out if you will fit in is to come and give us a try.

Please join this Sunday, 10:00 am at 1520 Westbrook Street in Portland, Maine 04102

What about my Kids?

Your young ones (up through 5th grade) would attend Kingdom kids on Sunday during church.

Your Junior Higher can attend the first part of the adult service, sitting with their peers. They would then attend a class of their own in another classroom in the church. They also have a weekly group that meets on Tuesdays at our Stroudwater campus.

Your High schooler can attend the adult service on Sunday with several rows of their peers and then have several choices of activities through the week they can attend.

Will you ask me for money?

If you are visiting or new, we will not ask you for money. We do take a collection every week but please don’t feel the need to put anything in.

If you have chosen Stroudwater as your church home then yes, we encourage Biblical tithing. Our offerings go directly to funding all our ministries and expenses of the church.

I have questions about God…

We’re really excited that you have questions about God. We’re here to try our best to help you find those answers. Not only that, but to help you develop a personal relationship with Christ. Not sure what that means? Well that is a great question too!

We run an Alpha course that is great in answering questions. It is a 12 week course that is designed to be a safe place to discuss God. We also have Small Groups that are run in people’s homes once a week. Here you can develop friendships as well as get some of those questions answered.
